Sacred Sol Design is a small jewelry studio based in Mystic, Connecticut. Each piece is designed and handcrafted by me using genuine gemstones, pearls, and thoughtfully chosen components.

Because I work with natural stones, no two pieces will ever be exactly alike. Color, pattern, inclusions, shape, and even size can vary slightly from stone to stone. That's part of what I love about working with them.

Sacred Sol started with gemstone lanyards because I wanted something functional that actually felt like jewelry.

Since then, Sacred Sol has grown to include necklaces, bracelets, earrings, wristlets, create your orwn earring charm bar, and other gemstone pieces.

The common denominator? Really good rocks.

Yes. I work primarily with genuine natural gemstones and freshwater pearls as well as czech glass and vintage glass components.

Natural stones aren't supposed to look perfectly identical. You may see variations in color, pattern, transparency, inclusions, or texture. Those little differences are part of the stone, not defects.

It depends on the piece.

You'll find gold-filled and gold-plated components throughout many of my jewelry designs, along with stainless steel and other carefully selected materials where durability or function matters.

For strung designs, I use professional-grade beading wire chosen for strength and flexibility.

The materials used in a specific piece are always listed in its product description.

Very close, but probably not perfectly identical.

Because gemstones are natural materials, every bead and stone has its own color, markings, inclusions, and personality. When I make a design more than once, I select stones that maintain the overall look and character of the original while letting those natural differences show.

For one-of-a-kind pieces, the piece photographed is the piece you'll receive.

Measurements are included in individual product listings whenever sizing applies.

For necklaces, remember that the same length can sit differently depending on your neck, clothing, body shape, and how you like to layer your jewelry.

Lanyard measurements refer to the approximate hanging length when worn rather than the total end-to-end length of the strand.

Most Sacred Sol lanyards are designed to fall like a long necklace while keeping your badge comfortably accessible.

Check the individual listing for the exact measurement of each design, or shop gemstone lanyards to compare styles.

Many Sacred Sol gemstone lanyards include a magnetic breakaway connection at the neck along with a sturdy clasp for your badge or ID.

Because designs can vary, always check the individual product description for the hardware included with your particular lanyard.

Sacred Sol jewelry is made to be worn, but a little common sense will keep it looking its best.

As a general rule, make your jewelry the last thing on and the first thing off. Avoid swimming, showering, exercising, or using household chemicals while wearing it, and apply perfume, hairspray, lotions, and sunscreen before putting your jewelry on.

Some are tougher than others.

Gemstones are rocks, but unfortunately that doesn't make them indestructible. Some stones can chip, scratch, or fracture if dropped onto a hard surface or knocked against something.

Treat them kindly. They've already survived a few million years. Let's not be the thing that takes them out.

I stand behind what I make and offer a Lifetime Minor Repair Assurance on Sacred Sol pieces. If something happens during normal wear, send me a photo and a quick explanation of what went wrong and we'll figure out the best way to get your piece back in rotation.

I offer repair and restringing services for many types of beaded jewelry, even if you didn't buy it from me.

I can often help with broken clasps, jump rings, stretch bracelets, earrings, reconnecting components, and restringing gemstone or beaded necklaces and bracelets.

No. I'm a jewelry maker, but I'm not a bench jeweler.

I don't repair engagement rings or other fine jewelry requiring soldering, stone setting, ring sizing, or specialized metalsmithing.

If I'm not the right person for your repair, I'll tell you.

I love creating pieces around a particular stone, color palette, length, or idea when the project is a good fit for the way I work.

With natural gemstones, an exact duplicate isn't always possible. But if I still have the materials, I may be able to create something with the same overall design or feeling.
